Delivered over two weeks, this face-to-face programme is designed to give you the essential skills, knowledge, and qualifications needed to work safely and confidently in dockside and industrial settings — including opportunities at the Humber and Immingham Docks.

What You’ll Learn

You’ll gain a solid understanding of health & safety in industrial environments, along with employability and customer service skills to help you stand out to employers. Key areas covered include:

  • Health & safety awareness and risk management
  • Environmental responsibilities on industrial sites
  • Customer service and communication on-site
  • First aid principles and emergency response
  • Workplace behaviour and interview readiness
